LOOKBOOK vs. Fashion Click Teen Vogue

So, as always I was on my the Teen Vogue forums and exploring the Teen Vogue website, I came across something that I found interesting. What is was was that I found was

"Introducing the Fashion Click, Teen Vogue's New Personal-Style Blogger Network"

I found it quite intriguing, so obviously I read it and clicked on the button to continue. What I saw was

something quite similar than what I see on LOOKBOOK.nu every time I go on the website(Which is quite often too). If you don't know what lookbook is, it is a website where amazing, beautiful, men and women put of picture of basically what they wore that day(many of the pictures look like photography) and it is so inspiring to look at. Both "Fashion Click" and "LOOKBOOK" both seem the same to me but I really want your opinion.

Dakota Fanning?

As I was on People Magazine's website I saw a Picture of Dakota Fanning at the Airport and I was wondering what your opinion was on it. So I thought it was cute with the cream colored cable-knit poncho and the Prada shoes added so much. Personally I don't like the color of the pants( and are they corduroy?) But, the fabulous Mui Mui purse looked great with it. I would totally wear but, I don't know if I would wear it to the airport. So tell me if you think it is airport appropriate, if you would wear it, and your opinion.

Thanks-Giving!!!

Now that Thanksgiving is near, I wanted to tell you free way to give. You may have noticed that on the right sidebar of this blog page is a widget called "SocialVibe". Social Vibe is completely free. The charity I have chosen this year Charity:Water. Charity Water is used to dig wells for clean water. Many children and adults do not have clean waters because of all the bacteria on their hands and in their source of water. To find out why I chose Charity Water this year, click here. Tresemme Dry Shampoo Review

Hey everyone,
So here is a blog post of a little more substance compared from the ones that I have been doing lately. This is going to be a review on the Tresemme Dry Shampoo. I have used this dry shampoo for about 3-4 months now. I just bought a new dry shampoo is weekend and it is the TIGI Rockaholic Dry Shampoo, so before I try that I wanted to review this.

The flaws to the dry shampoo is that it can leave your hair greasier than it was before if you don't apply it the correct way, it ways your hair down because of the grease and the product on top of it, and if makes you hair have this really weird feeling, that is really really hard to describe, but the end of the day.

Some of the things I like about the dry shampoo that, when applied the correct way, it can cover up the grease the accumulates in your hair, and make it look presentable in public, and not like you don't have proper hygiene. Another pro is that it is super inexpensive. The Tresemme Dry Shampoo costs about $5 and the new dry shampoo that I purchased costed about $19(but I got it 50% off!).
Overall, if you are looking for a dry shampoo to start out with I would totally try this. It is a great first dry shampoo. Look forward for the TIGI Rockaholic Dry Shampoo Review, and a comparison with the Tresemme Dry Shampoo and the TIGI Rockaholic Dry Shampoo.

YouTube Beauty Gurus

I know everyone here has heard of YouTube but, have you heard of the beauty community on YouTube. The Beauty Community is a group of wonderful gals that talk about beauty, make-up, and fashion on YouTube. If you have heard about them on the news or in magazines, you know they usually get negative attention. I have watched the beauty community for about 2 year now, and I have learned so much. There are definitely the cliques of YouTube that you will realize if you watch, and there are definitely fights between gurus(If any gurus are reading this please remember what I am about to tell you [from what i learned in Bible class at school] If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. [Mark 3:24]. Think of the beauty community as the kingdom and if you divide and go against each other soon you will all fall.) But, overall, they are all great wonderful girls, and I am sure there is some girl that is your age doing make-up on YouTube. I have seen girls as young was 5th grade(Seriously doing repeated videos) all the way up to adulthood.

If you go on YouTube and you feel lost, I am going to share some of my favorite beauty gurus with you guys (and trust me, they are amazing).

Jazzing Up that Boring Uniform

I have a school uniform, It is cute but not adorable, and I wanted to "jazz" it up. So here are some of the things you can do to "jazz" up your school uniform or dress code. (I hope they follow your guide lines)

One thing you can do is instead of carrying a backpack you can carry a tote bag. I still have to carry a backpack because of all my heavy books but, It can still work if you have a locker or something of that sort. You can get so many different kinds of tote bags. I would recommend getting on more expensive that will last longer because, then you wouldn't have to go to the trouble of having to go out an buying a new tote in the middle of the week, and you don't have the risk of your bag breaking in the middle of the school day. You can get a Juicy Couture tote bag of around $100 but I love the Marc Jacobs tote bags that are cute, simple, and functional. They cost around $180.

Something that you don't have to spend a bundle of money on is cute tights. They don't only always have to be simple black. They cost anywhere from $4- $10 per pair. There are so many places you can buy them, you can buy them at Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, Target, T J Maxx (where you can buy designer ones in packs of 3 for about $10). Tights can make-or- break and outfit. As I said, you can get cute tights with bow, animal prints, strips, polka dots, lace prints, flower prints, and cable knit or sweater tights.

Hair Accessories are a big on your appearance. People usually look from the head and down, so your hair is like you first impression. Get cute clips and headbands. They are compared to jewelry on your arms or neck, accept in your hair. Again you can buy all of these EVERYWHERE!!! Check at every store you are in. Some are cuter than other and yet some are more expensive, but I believe they all about the same levels of cuteness(haha is that a word). But, anyway. GET'em.

You obviously don't want to wear heels to school so I love my Tory Burch flats but they are kinda expensive, so I also switch them of with my Steven Madden Oxfords. If you do not want to spend $70 on oxfords you can buy replicas on Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe, and some other stores.

So here are some of my tips, if I think of any more tips I will totally do a part 2. Anyway, I hope you like and enjoy these tips. One thing about these tips is that I follow them, too. So there is no way that I can't give you tips that I don't follow myself.
