Personal: I need your Opinions, Acceptable or Unacceptable?

Okay I am not sure with you knew this but Lauren, one of my best friends, and I have been having trouble with the girls on the JVA field hockey team [If you are confused by now, Lauren and I were chosen to be captains of JVA team and players on the Varsity] Anyway, we have been having trouble with the JVA girls not respecting us nor listening to us. We were collecting $10 of a coaches gift and this is the response back(read the lower email) and then Lauren responded with the longer email (on top).

Do you think Brianna's (the lower one) and/or Lauren's emails were acceptable?

  1. I think that the top one was a little rude. Some people just can't afford to be spending money on something that's not a necessity, even if it's for someone they probably care about. And the overall tone of it was disrespectful, even if someone is being rude to you, you should always respond without rudeness.

And the bottom one seemed like a reasonable response, it seems like they didn't know what you had planned.

And as a coach, she probably gets paid to have practices after school.

Of course, I don't know the whole situation.

  2. I think the argument that "cookies are not enough for someone who puts so much effort on the team" is not valid. Anything with a thought should be sufficient. Sure, gift cards may be nice because they can get exactly what they want from the store the gift card is from BUT cookies are made with love and time. those things are more precious than money. the top email is definitely unacceptable.

  3. I think so. I don't see what the problem is?

  4. @J is it just stupid drama that happens at an all girls school, its about collecting money for a coach's gift at the end of a season. People are taking it way out of hand
