Oh my, We are kind of seniors. Was this year a struggle or not? I think APUSH practicably killed us, and yes "Erry-day we stugglin'!" We worked so hard. I am sorry for always texting you back back hours later and asking you "Tell me everything about this chapter in 5 minutes" as we panicked before our chapter tests every Monday. I probably would of had a melt down everyday, instead of every week, if you guys weren't there talking to me and getting my mind of everything.
Crisitna, you are amazing! I loved helping you study for Micro and Physics! Although we only had one class together, one semester; that did not stop me from yelling to you down the hallway, and then awkwardly stare at freshman; or send at least 5 pictures of Ed Westwick and week. Let's not forget skyping and the total of 4 times we actually hung out in person this year. I will never forget the email I sent to you, when I heard Katy Perry and Prince Harry could possibly, but not, go out; 15 ways to stop this! You are my best friend and I love you!
Erin, how many times did you teach me AP Chemistry? I think you might have taught me the whole class. Wait, it could be a combination of you and Emily. You are gorgeous and I love laser-tagging with you and Gabby. Chatting with you 3rd hour and freaking out about college recommendations, where to apply, and getting me through ACT panics, you are truly a gift to me. If I could right you are letter of rec, I would.
Gabby, It was magical sitting next to you in APUSH 1st semester. It was so fun sending Cristina pictures of celebrities she looks like during Presidential Presentation. I love hearing you vent about E.E. and how she is trying to freak you out. Although every time I saw you, you kind of made me freak out a little more about college, you pushed me to be even better and for that I cannot thank you enough. Georgetown won't know what they are losing if they don't accept you. You will be president one day! Plus, you introduced me to Il Volo and that was a game changer.
You all are amazing and next year will be amazing. SENIOR YEAR HERE WE COME!!!!!
When camping, don't get fancy with anything, keep it simple. I cannot stress that enough KEEP IT SIMPLE, you don't want to be like the almost step-mom in The Parent Trap. Given that you only going camping for usually only 2 days, 1 night; I gave you 4 outfits and a few other things that your should bring.
I would not recommend jeans shorts because they can be a little hard to move in, for me at least, I would recommend Nike Tempo Shorts(Which I live in in the summer) or Luluemon Shorts (my fave at the moment). If you hate (which I think it is impossible) running shorts, go for linen shorts because they are light and easy to move in.
Go for basic tops- StyleMint is a good place to get nice quality ones.
Bring a sweatshirt and sweatpants because it will get cooler. Alternative Apparel is so nice a warm.
Bring nice, durable shoes like Keds, Toms, and Nike's. They are all light, comfortable, and will withstand everything. Bring flip-flops if where you are going has a shower facility.
Bring a water bottle. I love water bottles, and I have a quite extensive collection, but Klean Kanteen (you can get them for $15 at REI) is the best for camping because they are steel.
Make sure you pack sunscreen, a hat, bug stray, and a lotion with sunscreen.
I was cutting it close to the wire, but I needed 2 dresses this week. One for Honors Convocation and for other ceremonies of Thursday. I was searching for a white and I decided I really wanted this Brooks Brothers dress. So my dad wanted to meet up with me anyway so I asked him if he would like to go to the mall with me. He kept telling me how he just got this bonus at work, so I asked him, politely, if he would like to buy me the dress. Of course he did because I am the only daughter that talks to him anymore but whatever. They didn't have that dress at Brook's Brothers and I didn't know what size I wore- plus it wouldn't get to me in time- so we walked around the mall for about 2 hours. I felt bad making him walk that much, plus I am a very fickle person, but I narrowed it down between 3 at J Crew and 2 at Lilly Pulizter. I chose this adorable blue and white striped dress which I am wearing today, and I will be wearing on Wednesday or Thursday. He also purchased me the J Crew woven belt, which I don't really think goes to well with the dress, but that is how they put it on the model.
The day before, I went to the same mall with my mom and my twin sister, Isabelle, who is also being honored, to find a dress. My mom was planning spending $100 on each, but she was presently surprised when I fell in love with this floral dress for BP Nordstrom that was only $44! Needless to say, I am in love with both of these dresses!
